Lifetime Achievement

Donal O’Driscoll

“I would like to once again express my sincere thanks to you and the judging panel for the great honour of receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award. As I mentioned on the night, coming from a background in public service, I’m not used to such occasions, which made the experience all the more meaningful. It’s a true credit to the private security sector to see the dedication and achievements of industry professionals so thoughtfully recognised and celebrated.

I cannot overstate my deep admiration for the principles that are promoted and celebrated by the OSPAs and count myself privileged to work alongside professionals with such high aspirations to innovation and excellence. During my service as a police officer, I was a strong advocate for close collaboration between law enforcement and the private security sector, firmly believing it to be a crucial component in optimising public safety in the evermore challenging modern security environment. Attending this year’s OSPA ceremony was a true honour and served to confirm the outstanding standards and achievements within the sector and proof that the future of the security sector in Ireland is both inspiring and assured”.
